At Amco Ranger, we know how important your lawn is to you, and that's why we are offering our new Rodent Management Program to stop the destructive behavior of yard rodents such as shrews or voles (meadow mice).  These rodents often burrow holes around porches and patios, and damage lawns, gardens, and flower beds by constructing tunnels and surface pathways while feeding on insects and plants.

Amco Ranger's Rodent Management Program will also control mice and rats that can cause significant damage to your home, as well as pose health risks for your family by transmitting disease causing pathogens.  These rodents are excellent climbers and can run up any rough vertical surface, and can jump up to 12 inches from the floor onto a flat surface. Mice can squeeze through openings slightly larger than 1/4 inch across, making any structure vulnerable to infestation.

Our Rodent Management Program includes the strategic placement of tamper-resistant rodent stations around the perimeter of your home. Your Amco Ranger technician will use these stations to regularly monitor and bait rodent activity.  Additional bait or rodent stations may also be placed in rodent burrows or on the interior of the home as necessary.  This ongoing process will eliminate and prevent rodent infestations around your home.

Amco Ranger's General Pest Control Service is a convenient, effective, and affordable service to manage many of the most common household pests in our area. These pests are controlled through the treatment of critical pest harborages inside the home, as well as a complete perimeter barrier application and treatment of pest entry points such as around windows, doors, and plumbing or electrical penetrations. A follow up visit is also included with this service at no additional charge to ensure control of persistent pest species such as ants.
While we always recommend having one of our inspectors take a look at your home before scheduling a service to identify the type of pests around the home and customize a service that will give you the best results, our General Pest Control Service can be scheduled without a prior pest inspection for simple pest issues. Also, although this service is ideal as a first step towards a pest-free home environment when protection is maintained through our Green-Star Pest Management Program or Ultimate Defense Pest Management Program, customers who do not want a program for ongoing pest protection can use this service as a "one-time" option with no further commitment.

* This service is not designed to control severe pests such as German Roaches, Brown Recluse Spiders, rodents, or any wood destroying, biting, or stinging pests. Customers who suspect these types of pests, or who are unsure of the type of pests present, should schedule a free pest inspection.

Bed bugs have resurged to quickly become a very important pest of the 21st century, as they invade numerous urban areas including hostels, hotels and residences. Our society has had a 30+ year "vacation" from this pest, when bed bugs were almost removed from North America as a result of mass treatments with older types of insecticides (DDT, Chlordane, Lindane). Recently though, bed bugs have found ample opportunity to increase in number and spread through society. Their success is a result of: increased travel of people; improved treatment methods that specifically target other insect pests; and the lack of public awareness.
